  Adoption is the placement of abandoned or surrendered animals in a permanent home. South Coast Humane Society has on the average found homes for 1 cat per day, and one dog every 3 days.

Regular adoption hours at the shelter are from Tuesday - Saturday, 12:00 - 4:00 .
